How To De-activate MTN End Of Activity Notification Message During And After Making Calls: For Sometime now when ever we want to make calls we receive some sort of message notification tell us about our Credit balance and Data Bundle balance which is kind of awkward to me but i don't know about you.

The reason for such message was that the NCC implemented a directive to MTN to ensure that customer are notified for their credit usage and balance after each activity.

Here is the NCC IMPLEMENTATION DIRECTIVE GIVEN TO MTN Below:

For clarity and billing transparency on our customers’ activity on the network, NCC has mandated that End of Activity Notification be activated for all MTN customers; Prepaid and Postpaid effective November 1, 2012. 

The End of Activity Notification (EOAN) is a notification message that informs customers about the actual charge of their last activity at the end of that transaction. 

This notification message will include: total cost of last activity and the remaining balance in the customer’s account at the end of every voice call, SMS and Data activity.

However, customers will be able to deactivate the notification by texting EOCN OFF to 131 and they can re-activate it by texting EOCN ON to 131.

Kindly note that customers will NOT be charged for activating and deactivating the notification message.”
